The Red Ranger is a large bodied Dual-purpose Hybrid. Rangers are bred and raised primarily for meat production, however, hens of this breed will live to produce on average 200 eggs yearly. Were as Broilers are usually grown as mixed-sex flocks in large sheds under intensive conditions, Rangers can be grown as free-range flocks. It will take about 4 weeks longer for this bird to mature to processing size.
